10 before 30: Oslo edition

Took us a while to get to number 5, but here it is! We raided the shores of far north and had to get to Games Workshop as soon as we landed in Oslo. It's pretty easy to find, close to the train station and city center. And it was a treat!
We got there on a sunny Friday and it was swarming with people buying and painting stuff. The shop was large enough to spend some time ogling the painted minis and terrain and make a mental wishlist for the following pillaging expeditions.
The staff was super friendly, impeccable English and really helpful. They didn't carry any Blood Bowl stuff (except for some books) but they did order the Skavenblight Scramblers for us to pick up the following week.
They also helped with picking some better sturdier white acrylic paint from Citadel (Pallid Wych Flesh).
Some of the minis were really masterfully painted.
While other were... more conventional?
I really liked this piece of terrain. There was Gandalf standing up to the Balrog on that bridge but the walls were really something we think we can also do at home (with silicoane foam), so the picture is focused on that.

Some nice ideas for trees as well... I guess most of improving is stealing ideas :D
Overall, it was pretty good. The prices seem quite OK for Norway (considering they are the online shop prices but overall Norway is freaking expensive), so probably there's a ton of collectors around. It's worth a visit. And if you're also looking for other places people play and buy Warhammer at check out Outland, there's two of them and they're awesome.
